I rather like the idea that
the last four seasons
becomes our pre-history
and the rag tag fleet's
legacy to us
is a fresh start
in our lives today

We watch
unable to stop
the broken Galactica
from flying into the light.
We turn away from the tv screen
turn to face our own aching world
readying ourselves
to do the work
to make this whole.

This has all happened before
Now that we know this,
let's make something new

So say we all.

our last Christmas card

Our goal for next year:
all the cards
sent out
before the
first day of Christmas.
